Nice n responsive little iron mouse

this mouse is very responsive and quick. the mouse cursor is actually too quick, so your hand can't make any big movements like the old trackball mouses.

the quality is expected to be great from logitech and with such a high price tag. the feel of it is great too, much nicer than the mx610, nano v450, performance mx and air mouse i've used.
the hyper scroll function, i'm not sure if mine should act like that, cuz the previous logitech i had was like this; when i spin the wheel, it keeps on spinning for like 2 seconds until i tab it again for it to stop. now this one isn't like that, but it scrolls really fast as well, but you'll have to adjust the scroll speed from the setpoint software provided.
now the main event, the darkfield technology, it's absolutely great. i haven't tried it on all surfaces yet, but it has worked on my light color desk and my lap (wearing jeans) right now.
CONS:
the 2 AA battery have definitely added the extra weight on this, one, otherwise it'll be perfect. maybe 3 AAA would be nice???
the leather carrying case that comes with this mouse is pretty nice, but it could be a tab bigger so i won't have to squeeze in the mouse and risk scratching it.
i would give it 5 stars if the mouse wasn't as heavy, but overall the mouse is the best i've used so far

Really works anywhere!

I absolutely love this mouse! I'm currently using it on a clear glass desk surface and have no issues with tracking. Oh, and the scroll wheel on Logitech's mice are fantastic with two modes. One that allows you scroll at the standard rate, but a second that will let you scroll through thousands of lines of spreadsheet with the single, quick flick of the finger. Somehow, it's still totally manageable even at those hyper scroll speeds. I can't say enough good things about this mouse.

This is the best mouse I have ever used. You can use this mouse off of the chair arm, or chair. It is wonderful.

Greatest mouse ever!

This mouse is a little smaller then most others and fits better in my hand. I bought it specifically for my laptop as I can't stand using my fingers on the pad that is on the laptop. It has a lot of cool features and settings.

All Around Great Mouse

I liked the first one I bought so much, I've purchased 2 more (one for work, one for personal laptop computer, and another for spare/second laptop computer).
Best attributes: wireless, perfect size for taking it with you, great on all surfaces (even glass), good shape (ergonomic)

I never thought a mouse could make such a difference. The option to unlock the scroll wheel and scroll at hyper speeds and the ability to move laterally in tables overshadows the fact that this mouse tracks flawlessly 100% of the time on any surface I've tried. Additional features such as a buttom to switch between open programs adds up to an unmatched mouse at any price. Even though it seemed pricey I bought my first one after a co worker raved about hers. After trying the first one, I bought one for my wife then one for the office.
I would recommend this to a friend!

i am completely satisfied with this product. Ordered on line, it arrived promptly.
It installed in a few short minutes. It really does anywhere. i have yet to find a surface on which it is unreliable.
