Microwave had large dent on top.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Opened top of box, took out styrofoam, was unable to remove microwave from box, turned upside down on the carpet, removed box, discovered dent.

Not bad, but it cooks!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our larger 1000 watt GE microwave suddenly stopped heating food after about 8 years, so we wanted a small one to have while we shopped for another. The only reason we went with this one was because it was a bargain, otherwise, I probably wouldn't have bought another appliance from a company that pays virtually no taxes in the U.S. thanks to their clever accountants making the best use out of every tax loophole that exists. The microwave is not actually working properly....when the food is finished cooking and it beeps 4 times and says "END" in the display, it continues cooking that entire time, another 3-4 seconds, till it shuts off.

Old Faithful!

My husband and I brought this product over five years ago. It just recently started to act up. It definitely has held up its end of the bargain. The top of the microwave started peeling and shutting off our breaker when we go to open it. It doesn't happen every time. We had unexpected twins recently so buying a new one is so out of the question right now. Absolutely would recommend GE appliances to anyone.

Carousel glass plate constantly falls of rotor

Carousel glass plate falls of rotor about 75% of the time. Only seems to stay in place when re-heating small cups of beverages (<= 8.0 oz).
