I purchased this to replace a stackable of antiquity which was no longer supported by apartment owners. Needed to buy my own and it needed to fit in designated space. I've always owned Maytag by preference - but have has one Whirlpool in the past and this replaced Whirlpool stackable. I did NOT want a combo and I wanted vented.

This is top of the line in every function, feature, ease of use and really quiet. Very efficient and effective, were thrilled with our Duet Washer and Dryer pair.

Wonderful dryer

I love the front load dryer. It enables me to stack my washer and dryer and still enjoy having full-size appliances. A great space saver.

Solid machines

Whirlpool makes a quiet, smooth running washer and dryer. They are easy to install and use. The operational performance is quite good (the clothes are clean and dry). The large opening makes loading / unloading easy. We stacked our units to conserve space. The only problem we found was that the "Normal" setting on the dryer is not visible from the floor - it is hidden behind the control knob from our vantage point. But, that being said, they are good machines and the price is competitive.
