Tremendous Dryer!!

We bought the washer/dryer bundle and could not be happier! Our clothes are cleaner, our electric bill is lower, and our water bill has been cut in half! As a husband who works from home I am absolutely astounded at the job these products do. Absolutely cannot find one thing I would change!

Disappointment

Been using the dryer for about two months now and have been very disappointed. Using the recommended settings, it will not dry clothes. The only way we have found to get the clothes dry is to use the bulky or heavy duty settings. Any other setting is apparently controlled by the electronic sensor and it takes an inordinate amount of time to dry anything.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Quiet and Does the Job

This dryer is very quiet, easy to use and has great features. I love the heat sensor feature which knows when the clothes are dry, which saves energy and prevents overdrying. I love this dryer!

I bought this last month when I moved to a new home and needed to switch from gas to electric dryer. At my old home I had the older, gas version of this dryer and loved it. This new "updated" version is a great dissappointment. My main complaint is that there is now an electronic beep ( a shrill, piercing sound) to alert for EVERYTHING that the machine does - turn on, start, change heat level, finish, etc.It is VERY loud and there is no way to soften it nor turn it off (as the old models allowed). It turns on with a silly and obnoxious tune. There is no turning the machine on to dry once you go to bed because the finish signal is sure to wake you and there is no other option.I called the tech support to see if I could find out how to at least disable the sound but was curtly told that that was nothing I could do. The support person was completely non-interested in my problem and did not want to help in any way.I am stuck with an obnoxious sounding machine that makes stupid sounds that offend my sensibilities.I am so surprised that Whirlpool has stooped to such a low level of design.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought this in August because my brother had them for over 6 years with flawless use. Very happy with it as it is awesome to use...makes going laundry fun, lol

Quick Wash

Have had this set for a month or so now and am very happy. The soil sensing makes the loads get washed and dried very quickly. A lock after the dryer is set would be nice. My cat lays on top of it, dangles his paws over the edge and keeps turning off my dryer. It may sound cute but gets very annoying. I know, just keep the cat off the dryer, easier said than done.

Great energy efficient

This is a great product, super quick and easy to operate and energy efficient as well. With a new baby and a bulldog I do a ton of laundry and this is a great unit!
