I reviewed many different kinds of dryers and chose the Whirlpool Duet over all the others, as it is made in the USA! My old Whirlpool worked fine, but I bought a new Whirlpool washer and had to have them match. I am so glad I did. I love my new dryer and washer. I am happy to wash and dry cloths now, my husband laughs at me because I am so excited to do laundry. It takes half the time now to dry the clothes, and is so quiet. I am always telling my friends they need to get this front loader.

Great stackables

We are very limited on space, so we stacked this dryer on top of the matching washer, and I must say that we're really happy with this set. There is no shaking or movement from the dryer, it sits really well on top of the washer...and what a job it does! I love the feature that senses when the load is getting dry and then accurately finishes drying at just the right time. The door is great as well, because you can change it so that once stacked, it'll open the same direction as the washer underneath it, which is very important in tight spaces. The lint filter is right in the front and very easy to pull out and empty, then just drop it back into the slot and you're ready to go again. Overall I'm very happy with this set, and somewhat surprised at what a wonderful job it does for a set in this price range...guess I should've expected that from a tried and true brand like Whirlpool.

Dries quietly and quickly

We installed the Duet high efficiency washer and dryer in our master bathroom. The loads come out clean and dry, quickly and quietly!

For a long time I felt that Whirlpool reflected high and reliable quality at an affordable price. I am glad that I selected this dryer to replace the one that came with the house. It provides excellent features, a variety of selections, and with the automated spin once the clothes are dry, avoids wrinkles to keep everything fresh.

Good dryer for the money.

I went with this machine because my appliance repairman recommened Whirlpool and my personal experiences with other brands. I purchase several appliances each year and am most satisfied with Whirlpool. I plan on purchasing at least 8 more machines in the next few months.

This is the second whirlpool dryer we have owned and I couldn't be happier with this purchase. The dryer is easy to use, energy efficient, quiet and holds a larger than average load size. I have recommended this set to all my friends, you truly can't go wrong with this purchase.
