Nothing short of fabulous!

I bought this dryer a little over a month ago because I am trying to make my home more energy efficient. I did a lot of research on which model I would go with. I did see some bad reviews but most of all I saw good ones. I am so glad I went with the good ones! I am absolutely loving this dryer and I am seeing a difference in my electric bill which was my main motivation. I ended up purchasing the matching washer a few weeks ago. I absolutely LOVE this set! My amount of laundry has been cut in half due to the large capacity and although it takes a bit longer to dry than my old dryer, it is worth it! I would highly recommend this dryer (and I have!). I convinced my friend who was in the market for a new dryer to purchase the Whirlpool duet. She did and she loves hers too!! Thank you Whirlpool!! Next purchase, my whirlpool convection oven!

Works well

Purchased a month ago. It does the job well. The control panel is very sensitive ( accidentally pushing the buttons frequently). The chimes are annoying but one should be able to turn them off.

Reliable, quiet, does the job without concerns. Sometimes takes a bit longer to dry than anticipated - mostly with small mixed loads. Very happy with performance.

Overall I have been very happy with this dryer. The only issue I've had is, sometimes when I need to add more time, I turn it to "time dry" and it won't let me set the time unless I turn off the power and turn it back on (which only takes a second)

Washer and dryer

I lovey new washer and dryer. My clothes are cleaner;stains are actually being washed out without a lot of extra effort. My dyer drys everything on half the time. Now one cycle frys the clothes where befor it was taking me 3 cycles. Nest investment every and my eldctric bill dropped $20 awesome! Thanks Whirlpool.

We wish all models had the option to shut off the sound; the beeping drives us crazy!!! Why can't this be an option on all your models?

I moved into a new rental house and needed a washer/dryer. I elected the Duet combo based on previous reviews and simple use of operation. It works as advertised. I wish you could easily change the tone alert for when the cycle has completed. The wife loves to do laundry with the Duet!
