Awesome Dryer.

Our old Whirlpool dryer needed to be fixed and with what it would have cost we decided to purchase a new dryer. We loved our old dryer so wanted to stick with Whirlpool. I was hoping for a dryer that was at least as good as our previous one and this far exceeded it. You can not go wrong with Whirlpool appliances and this dryer is no exception. large enough to handle a queen size comforter and still have room and offers all the features anyone would need or want. Love this dryer!!

I bought this dryer hoping that the sensor would work well but it really does not. It overdrys on a normal sensor setting.Otherwise I have no complaints.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Wonderfull versatility

As A professional Home Designer, I love the fact that these are full size yet fit anywhere and are stack-able. I keep these dimensions in the back of my mind while space planning different laundry room layout. I personally appreciate the fact that they are quit when used. Good looking too.

I finally broke down and replaced my 26 year old washer and dryer! My husband is handy and would repair our old Whirlpool set when anything happened but it got to the point where it was easier to replace then repair based on the age of my old units. As I said my old Whirlpool set was 26 years old, which is exactly why we went with another Whirlpool, we KNOW they last! As a matter of fact we passed down the old Whirlpool dryer to our daughter because it was still in great working condition and she just loves it!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Door opening options & sizing

Purchased duet set for new home. Everything works great. However, have noticed the lack of standards in sizing and door opening direction. Houses are built with dryer on left, washer on right (electrical and plumbing). The doors on duet do not allow for easy transfer of clothing from washer to dryer. Also the pan used at base of washer is not sized to fit this washer as the back of washer has several inches of material extending beyond washer side structure. Thus, washer sits on ridge/edge of floor drain pan.
