BIG SOUND in a small package!!!

Ok I really waited to long to write this review. I purchased a BOSE home theater system that was 3 times the cost and took it back within 5 days. Then I read reviews and purchased the KLIPSCH QUINTET IV HOME THEATER SYSTEM with a ONKYO TX-SR608 RECEIVER and I actually thought I would be returning this also. Well I've had this system for about 3 years. This system has been great considering my TV room is 20'X20' and really is to big for these speakers. But they have delivered great quality sound. The QUINTET IV HOME THEATER SYSTEM is truly under priced. If you want a real quality surround sound system then you can't go wrong purchasing the QUINTET IV. It's just time for me to upgrade.
Pros: Easy To Set Up, Energy Efficient, Good Audio, Good Remote, Interfaces Well With TV, Intuitive Controls, Powerful Bass

Amazing Sound & Quality

I can't believe anyone would rate these below 4 stars. If you set these up properly with a quality receiver (easy to do), there's no need for anything more. My den/entertainment room is open to a kitchen and kitchenette and these fill the rooms with quality sound. I am using their SW-450 subwoofer with the set and all is perfect!!

big sound from small package

i bought this set to replace a set of 5 jbl speakers that i'd had for quite a few years. i could hardly believe the difference in the sound quality. i mounted the fronts to either side of my wall-mounted tv and the two rears just above my sitting position. the center is on a shelf just above my tv. others have stated a problem with wall-mounting these speakers and them being a little loose. i've had no such problem with mine and they've been mounted on the wall since the day i brought them home; which has been over a year. and while these definitely aren't the top-of-the-line solution, they do provide big sound. my system is in my bedroom so it's the perfect set-up for my room size. when i get my actual home theater built, i'll be putting in a larger system (klipsch, of course). these small are amazing and are definitely a great bang-for-your-buck solution.

The best amp after 5 was the Marantz slim line 350 it's 50 watts of clean true power and really lays respect down for the quintet system I just added two icon 15 in front and my theater / bedroom is 10 vaulted ceiling And 15 x15 square 1 klipch synergy12 sub mounted at 8 foot reseed into wall Nothing come close to what you can hear with clarity like this.

Spectacular when paired with good AVR

If you pair this system with a mid-level AVR and a good sub then it delivers. These speakers are the best you can get for a money and size as well. My home theater room absolutely fills with an awesome sound. I have it hooked to def tech super cube 2000 and the whole set up sounds just like a theater..

Best Speakers for the Money

You will never buy a better speaker for the money, I will never buy any speasker other than Klipsch. I looked at a lot of different brands, nothing compared to the sound of the Klipsch speakers

(within 6 months). The only Flaw is the Support Stands seem to come loose and after repeated tightening the speakers sag...........
