Just Pathetic

This was purchased for our Kitchen remodel in 2011, so roughly 6.5 years ago. Within the first 2 months we had to have some part replaced, so they sent out a repairman who did a good job, but would have liked to have a new one. This accompanying the removal and replacement of the dishwasher due to seal problems really gave me a bad taste in my mouth to Frigidaire products. I am now going to replace my Professional series Microwave and Range, well, because they couldn't hold up to just 2 people using them, and not on a regular basis. I paid a premium for these products and if I hadn't purchased the extended warranty, I would have been sunk on some of the repairs. Frigidaire, never again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not worth it

I bought it and has been repaired twice... now is broken again.
I Used to love Frigidaure products... now it is electrolux.... very cheap

Do not buy

We bought this as part of a package (oven, fridge, dishwasher and microwave) and everything else with the bundle is fine but the microwave is junk. Everything was properly installed (the professionals from where we purchased the new items did it) but the microwave catches water between the door and the glass because the Boil Water burner is right beneath it on the front right of the stove. There is no way to avoid it. We are replacing the door (this has all happened within the warranty time period) but even the Tech said it will happen again. If that is not defective enough, the touch panel is also problematic. It became loose (you heard something snap inside of it and then you were able to pull it out slightly and see the wires) and when the Tech reordered that part for us it also arrived with the same broken piece as the one we were replacing. Manufacters Defect? I think so. I am waiting for a new piece and am hopeful it wont have the same problem as the first but I am very doubtful.

range hood is useless

microwave works ok but range hood does not suck. had to take it down. bought separate range hood and countertop microwave. just hard to make a large over the range microwave with room for fan and air flow. kitchen filled with smoke etc. I bought rest of professional line for new house and very happy but not with this one.

I think this is a very good product. Looks great in my kitchen and is easy to use. There are many good features for the price. It complements my Frigidaire gas range as well as the the dishwasher and refrigerator, which are all the professional series.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice Micro

I've had this product for 8 months with no issues. Overall I like everything about it except the plastic control cover. In my last house I had a different brand that had a glass control interface panel which looked much nicer. This one looks wavy when you catch the light reflection right.
I would recommend this to a friend!

POOR DESIGN

The lower handle retaining screws began to come loose within a month of installation. Finally we had to call a repairman . The design is defective because there are no lock washers on the screws and vibration causes them to loosen. Since the door must then be disassembled to access them it is a costly repair.
A very basic design flaw.

TO SAY OUT OF WARRANTY. REPAIRMEN SAID IT WOULD COST ALMOST AS MUCH AS REPLACING THE UNIT. THIS IS AN OVER THE RANGE UNIT AND WAS NOT AN INEXPENDSIVE MICROWAVE SO NOW ALL IT IS, IS A LIGHT AND EXHAUST FAN LOOKING TO REPLACE. REPAIRMEN SAID IT WAS THE MEGATRON WHICH OF COURSE IS THE MOST EXPENSIVE PART. WE BOUGHT A COMPLETE SET OF KITCHEN APPLIANCES HOPE THIS ISN'T A SIGN HOW LONG THE REST WILL LAST
