Obviously my builder installed this microwave because it was cheap

Frigidaire Microwave MWV150KBB

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this will be #2 in 3 yrs that failed "made in China" .... all I get from factory is "sorry your'e warranty is up". JUNK in my book ... oh forgot to mention the side by fride was replaced before warranty but still is very noisy........FAIL!

Very upset

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I bought this microwave with an entire set and had our contractor install it all! We were quickly let down (right after a year almost to the day) because while our twins were still bottle feeding the microwave started shorting out EVERY TIME WE WOULD OPEN THE DOOR and we would have to reset the breaker. We had our appliance guy check it out once our third baby came because we simply don’t have room for a second microwave in our kitchen and he said it would cost more to fix it than it would just to buy a new one. Problem is, we have 3 babies with another on the way. We don’t have time or money to keep replacing this microwave. We are worried it could be a fire hazard. I definitely do not recommend this microwave. Super let down!

Replacement OTR microwave

Our last Frigidaire Microwave lasted for 10 years almost to the day of installation. I wanted to replace it with the same or similar model hoping to reuse the wall mounts. Even though this replacement model was virtually identical to the unit it was replacing. I had to remount the new back braces. The bottom bracket fingers was offset by 1/2 " and couldn't use the old one. The Microwave is great. Base model that does all of the things that we use on a regular basis. All of the fancy features don't get used. Why pay for them. I hope this unit lasts as long as the last one.

What's not to like?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the basic model because, well, I just use it for defrosting, reheating, and frozen veggies. My criteria included a handle (not a push-to-open button) and a 30-second button. This has both. I've been using it for a year with non issue. The worst think is that it is made of shiney plastic. The picture makes it look like matte finish which it is not.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Paint cracked

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The microwave works great. My only complaint is after owning for a year the exterior paint on the bottom of the door cracked. Does not look good at all.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It works well and looks nice. Lots of cool features too. I would have given it a 5 star rating but the door ruins all the good stuff. It’s so hard to open and close. I can’t imagine an older person operating it easily. You have to pull super hard to open and you have to slam it to shut it. Poor design on the door negates all the other stuff. I honestly thought it would get better with time or that it was just ours... but other reviews say same. Any advice from Frigidaire would be most appreciated.
