It’s truly slow, I tried 2 different pot roast recipes that have always worked in my old crock pot and both times I had to add more cook time. I made my usual Chili and it was OK but it’s hard to screw up my Chili. The positives, easy to use, clean, looks good but I want a different crock pot. Maybe the vendor will give me that option but I doubt it. The lid does not seal and I believe that is the problem

I purchased this to have an addition to my other unit. Do not use the other one any more. I love my Cuisinart slow cooker. Everything about it works for me. It is easier to pick up with the side handle, the programmable time is longer . I love the quality of Cuisinart. It is my product of choice. I have the coffee malker that replaced Kureig and there is my food processor. I love the Cuisinart brand and the reputation and the quality of the product. Thank you Cuisinart.

This is my second Cuisinart and this one is digital opposed to a dial on previous product. The only con I have which applies to both models is the screw that holds the knob on the lid never seems to stay tight and spins which is annoying. Other than that no problems and a great product!

The low setting on this unit is much lower in temp then the units that I have had in the past..and then the high is to high and causing my food to burn..I have adjusted my cooking temps moving forward..I still like the product..Very easy to use ..Trial and error.

Looked endlessly for a toxic-free, slow cooker. Saw this one (with a ceramic insert) rated by a third party reviewer. Cooks very effectively. I very happy with it. It’s healthier to eat home cooked meals. We know what we are cooking it in and we can buy clean (organic) ingredients! Also, our oil is fresh. We do not know if restaurants use clean and fresh ingredients.

Great Style... It is easy to clean. This slow cooker requires an 8-hour recipe to be extended to a 10-hour time. I normally fill my slow cooker to capacity, however, the vegetables are not as done as I would like. Just my personal preference, as my old slow cooker (not Cuisinart) cooked my vegetables done within an 8-hour time frame.
