The best iPhone since the last iPhone

ForceTouch (or 3D touch) ends up becoming very useful, especially as application begin to adapt the functionality. I love "peek" and "pop" feature for email and text, it's so handy, especially if you use read receipts.
Performance? Oh man does this thing scream. My 6 Plus was always lagging and getting hung up after running just a few applications at a time. I haven't had this issue with the 6S Plus yet, it's buttery smooth. It's nice to be able to ForceTouch the left side of the display on the edge and swipe through the apps so that the home button becomes unnecessary. The extra gig of ram really shines when browsing. No longer will you receive a text and go back to safari only to have your tabs refresh. I have yet to find a game or application to slow this thing down.
Camera? Live Photos is awesome. I turned the feature off, however, until more cloud based applications like Dropbox support the feature for saving/redownloading the pictures. There's no point in taking these pictures until I can ultimately back them up someplace besides the actual phone. It'll also improve once Apple releases iOS 9.1 so that the "live" doesn't keep recording after you're finished snapping the photo. This is a slight annoyance, but overall the feature is cool. The actual camera sensor itself has been greatly improved. There is no point in getting into exact specifics about the hardware since the majority of you reading this only care about one thing, great photos. This camera is as close to DSLR as i've ever seen from a phone. Video in 4K is great too. I will always shoot 4K now to future proof my memories. Even though 4K is capturing massive amounts of information, it doesn't slow the phone down at all.
The battery life has been noticeably better than my 6 Plus. I think the reason is the processor doesn't have to work as hard to run applications combined with a more lean OS (iOS 9). I'm seeing about an hour more in battery life as compared to my 6 Plus with heavy usage.
Overall, this has been a solid upgrade from my 6 Plus and would highly recommend. I really hope Apple continues to use high quality metal like this device uses. It feels very durable now and i'm not afraid of bending. I will highly recommend you buying a 64 GB device, as just 1 live photo can take up to 5 MP of space and 4K is around 375 MB per minute filmed. This can eat up the 16 GB space in no time.

Glad I went back to Apple!

Bought this a week ago after being with android for the past 7 years. Upgraded to this from a Note 4. My husband talked me into giving the iPhone 6s Plus a try. Love it! And the rose gold is awesome! The battery life is amazing compared to android & the picture quality is beautiful. I'm constantly taking pictures so this was a major plus for me. The phone is pretty fast & hasn't lagged to this day. With android phones that was something that bothered me. Samsung and Apple are both good phone companies but for 2015, I have to say Apple took it. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I wish they had some of the customizing options that Samsung does have, like fonts & themes, etc. Other than that it looks like I'm sticking with Apple for a while.

Best iPhone so far!

My wife and I have had a 6s plus for 6 months. Moving up from the 5s this phone has it all over the 5s. The new 12 gig camera is awesome and the large screen is super. It would be hard to go back to the smaller screen after using the 5.5 inch. We have had ZERO issues with the new phone, just like our prior ones, Apple quality abounds. Can't wait to see the iPhone 7. I like the idea the unlike most Androids the manufacturer has Apple stores all over if needed for support and a great telephone support team to ask questions on "how to..." We came close to switching to the Samsung S6 Edge, but the Apple support feature is what keeps us with them.

If anyone is looking to upgrade I highly recommend this phone (IPhone 6s plus), or the smaller brother (IPhone 6s)!
The new A9 processer along with 2gigs of ram really makes a difference, and it shows especially when it comes to gaming!
Also the 3D Touch is amazing it adds a whole new depth to navigating ur phone, and once u get used to it (and realize you won't break the screen! By pushing on it harder lol) you won't want to go without it!
Also this phone takes amazing photos and videos, and me and my kids love the live pictures! Oh if u love to take a lot of pictures and/or videos I don't recommend the 16 gigabyte model.
Also the battery life isn't bad it's about the same as last years model. It gets me threw the day but when I'm in a gaming mood or trigger happy with taking pictures I bring my batter pack.

Bad touch chips
on September 15, 2016

On the logic board of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, there are two tiny chips called “Touch IC” chips that translate your finger presses into machine-readable information. The thing is, these chips are located in a part of the iPhone 6 Plus that is particularly susceptible to bending and flexing, which is a known issue of the phone. The phone flexes ever-so-slightly thousands of times over the course of normal usage: as you pull it into and out of your pocket, or sit on it, or drop it. Eventually, all those-micro flexes add up, and the solder that holds the chips to the logic board comes loose, leading to a condition that the repair industry is calling “touch disease.”
There are many different severities of touch disease, but its most common tell is a series of grey bars on the top of the iPhone’s screen that is accompanied by intermittent touch screen responses. Some users report having to apply force to certain parts of their phone to temporarily reestablish touch functionality; others report having touch functionality on certain parts of their phone but not others; in many cases, the phone is completely unusable and unresponsive to touch. Replacing the screen itself is not a remedy, because the Touch IC chips are on the logic board of the phone.
Because the iPhone 6 does not flex nearly as much as the iPhone 6 Plus, Touch IC problems are rare (but not unheard of) in the smaller phone. For the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus, Apple moved the physical location of the Touch IC chips off of the logic board and onto the underside of the screen display itself, which is why 3D Touch is possible on those phones.

Have a problem

I cannot understand why I cannot hear the caller but they can hear me clearly. When I let others use my phone they told me they cannot hear me but I can hear them. So what is the problem with my IPhone 6s Plus? Bought this phone less than a month ago.

Let me just start off by saying this, I came to the iPhone 6s Plus from an android so the change was a bit different. The only experience I've had with iPhone is a iPhone 6 back when iOS 8 was still glitchy and slow. However with this phone I have had amazing load times, no lags or freezes, the battery lasts way more then enough, and is just an amazing phone. The only flaw is it can be a little slippery at times, but I've got a low profile bodygaurdz case and I don't have that issue anymore. I've had this phone for about 2 months, and I can honestly say I have had 0 issues with this phone
