Easy to assemble and use.

After receiving, assembling and using the first of this item I immeiately purchased a second unit for my Son's house. The unit was easy to inventory, assemble and use in accordance with the directions included in the box. The hardware is neatly packaged in bubble packaging with each bubble able to be cut open as needed providing only the items needed for the assembly steps (Unlike other items that I have purchased in the past where all hardware is lumped into one package and must be seperated and inventoried before starting. The wrench needed for assembly is also included and only a screwdriver and additional wrench were needed to tighten some hardware during final steps.
The heater functions perfectly and was easily lighted for the first time after only two times pressing the ignitor. Very happy with this purchase.

Perfect Heater for my Patio

I just recently assembled the patio heater and while 1 person can do it, it is best to have 2, especially when attaching the burner. It fits perfectly within my new patio and provides sufficient heat without the high setting for evenings. The better test will come this winter.

The patio heater will be welcome on chilly evenings. I gave it 4 stars because the housing unit does not have a door to change out the propane tank. It is precarious to lift the housing while changing out the tank at the same time. The assembly instructions are very good. But it took 2.5 hours to assemble by a journeyman pipefitter and an assistant.

Hi CW! I noticed your commented about the tank housing being precarious during tank changes. The design of the tank housing does eliminate a door because the hinges and door on tank housings tend to be the failure points. However, there is no need to physically hold the tank housing aloft! Lift it high enough that the bottom edge can rest on top of the support legs, propped on the inside of a bolt head. This will secure the tank housing safely out of the way while you swap tanks, no juggling necessary!
