Good Battery with current technology

People don't understand that batteries aren't well developed yet. The problem with battery run cars is that in order to store the energy, you need this huge battery. For this battery size and computer power consumption, this is a very good battery. 2.5 hours is actually really good, if you understand the science behind this technology. When you realize how much power is being used to run your computer, you'll understand how good of a battery this really is.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I used my new DV8t Laptop and used it with the "
HP Long Life Notebook Battery with support for Extended Lifecycles (standard)" that I paid extra for. one hour into using it the power was gone.

Why can Apple make a 12 hour battery, but mine, which I thought was super sized is only one hour on DV8T.... this is really sad.
My Dv8t has other problems too...maybe later.

Battery Life Stinks

This is the second battery I have replaced in the past 6 months. The original battery in the laptop lasted a wopping 6 months. Its worse than printer ink. I have to replace the battery every 6 months.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

HP replacment battery selection chart proved to be correct... a concern, since the application shown in the chart was not confirmed by the battery's spec sheet. However, the battery arrived as scheduled, fit the bay, and works perfectly. Quite a relief, as I was leaving for Tokyo with it the day after it was scheduled to arrive.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My biggest issues with these batteries is they don't last.
I have a laptop that is about 4 years old. I am on my 3 rd battery and 2 second power cord.
The hp replacements work better than third-party.
I am just upself they aren't built to last.
