Poor keypad

The keypad requires that you press relatively hard on the keys for them to be accepted. I have to hold the back of the unit with one hand and press the buttions with the other hand. If I don't, the unit just slides on the countertop and the numbers don't register. As a result, The plastic surface that covers the keypad is deteriorating.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Didn't know it has been discontinued. The finished alarm goes off before it stops microwaving!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is a good product. It's small size is great for a small kitchen. This plastic film over the buttons peels off and the keys are a little hard to press sometimes, but over all, it is a good product.

I was extremely impressed with the features this microwave provided, and the extreme ease in its use. The only things that I wish were a little different are: 1) The plug comes straight out from the cord instead of the plug prongs being at a 90 degree angle to the cord, as a result the microwave takes up more counter space than necessary. 2) I had to replace this unit once as it stopped working in less than a year, and now on the replacement it is making some strange noises. Hopefully I won't have to replace it again. But this is the same as any new appliance, they just don't make them as sturdy anymore.
