COUNTER TOP MICRO.

I got this model three years ago and it is now unusable, because of blistering paint inside. I was told sparks could result in holes in the metal; thus causing radiation to leak. There was also a similar posting that was posted seven months ago on this site about the blistering paint, but it seems to of been removed. ????
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We've had this microwave for 2 years. We have had no problem with the operation in any way. It looks good, not too noisy, and does a great job. The main features we use are the minute cook or add 30 sec.
We mainly use the microwave for warming and reheating with some thawing frozen foods.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We picked this microwave after reading several reviews and searching online for the best buy - trying to get the most power for our money - we are very pleased with our choice. It does excellent defrosting; plus the potato & popcorn button cook both foods perfectly. The only issue we have is an occasional rattling noise in the back of the unit. We would highly recommend this product and are surprised to see GE no longer is making it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This microwave cooks and heats up leftovers without taking up all my counter space. The features are great, you can push one of the preset time buttons to cook/ heat up foods fast. However if you are cooking and need to set the time for 20 minutes you can do that with no problem also. One thing I really like is that if I do not check my food when the microwave first goes off it will beep again and remind me. The clock keeps perfect time and the appearance is up to date and would look nice in anyones kitchen. The cost was very reasonable and I would recommend this microwave to anyone look to purchase one.

It offers customized settings for different foods: meats, vegetables, packaged foods and popcorn. It cooks and heats evenly (no hot spots). You will find yourself actually cooking in this microwave oven, not just defrosting or re-heating foods.

We like this microwave, except for the inside of the door/window getting rusty after only a few months of owning it. This can be seen from the outside and looks gross! We are not sure why this happened as we have never had this problem with other microwaves or any other appliance.
