Since I had used my stand mixer always, I didn’t have any experience with an electric hand mixer until I bought this. I had to make a cake and then an ermine frosting for the first time. After a few splatters, I finally got the hang of it and everything came out great! I love it and can’t wait to make my next holiday dessert with it! Highly recommend!

I could have spent less for a hand mixer, but I like Cuisanart products. I replaced a handmixer that I’ve had since the 80s. Easy to figure out buttons, features. A feature that I love is the delayed start- beaters start slowly and then come up to desired speed. Can’t wait to try the balloon whisk.

I bought this hand mixer as a replacement for my other power advantage 7 speed mixer. I loved the first one I bought, but the on button got stuck and it would not shut off. I needed to replace it to finish my baking. This advantage mixer has different on and off buttons which I'm grateful for. It works well, like my previous mixer.

The plastic blade retainer is broken and doessn't hold the blades like it should. The beaters fall out of the unit without pulling the release lever.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
