Power is a wonderful thing in a mixer but even the lowest setting makes gradually adding ingredients impossible. I'm an experienced baker who has used many a mixer and this one is so disappointing and difficult to manage.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought this mixer to replace my Oster mixer of 20 years and hope it will last as long! Sturdy, stylish beaters, and only one set that does it all, rather than the two sets (whipping or beating) we all used in the past. The cord swivels so that it can be out of the way when you stand it up. Happy with it and highly recommend it.
