Love this mixer so far. It's sturdy, pretty light, and easy to use. The only reason for four instead of five stars is that I wish the lowest setting beat more slowly & gently. It's much faster than expected/wanted and sent flour flying all over at one point, and batter later on at another. It would offer more control while baking if the lowest speed didn't start off so high. With that said, I'm still happy with my purchase and would recommend this mixer at this price point.

We seem to go through one of these every couple of years. I bought my first one 30 years ago. It lasted 20 years. Finally in 2021 it gave up the ghost, so I bought a new one. That one lasted exactly two years and our daughter bought another. That one has lasted exactly two years. I didn't realize at the time that Cuisinart has a 3 year warranty and we chucked the oldone. This time, I am going to apply for the warranty.

I just purchased this hand mixer and tried it out on whipping cream and pie filling. It handled great and the end product turned out well. Easy to use and shift speeds. Also the beaters ejected fine.
