I have used this mixer a few times and it is working great. It whipped up egg whites quickly and creamed butter beautifully. The beaters are a joy to clean. Hopefully it’ll keep going strong for many years to come.

I am another one of those whose decade-old, hand-me-down-from-my-mom hand blenders finally quit. I like my Cuisinart hand blender which is why I thought I would try the company's hand beater. What I found is that the first speed is not at all low - more medium high which is so disappointing. When I beat eggs into butter, the room takes a bath in it as a the result. (Use the steepest bowl you can find.) The problem is I don't think there is much better out there. I spent a very long time reading reviews of other blenders and found that the silicon coatings on other beaters shred, that there aren't any "true" low speeds anymore, and that some are much louder (although this model is by no means quiet). I will keep using it for a while and trust I'll get used to it.

Enjoyed the multi-speed settings. Mixes well, although you get some splashing from the beaters when adding liquids. Other than that, overall great mixer!
