Well my trusted HP DESKJET 5550 give up its last breath after about 6 Years, press print and it prints, was fast, used the printer every day so HP it had to be,
Good Reviews so HP 6000 was the one to go for, Switch on noisey going ons print slow to start and after printing more noisey going ons, print your next Doc slow to get going and noisey afterwards.
Not a patch on the old printer I suspect it's because It now has a separate printhead and just ink cartridges as the printhead was on the cartridges on the Deskjet 5550 ( much better if you have a problem you just replace the cartridge ) if this clogs up and can't unclog you may as well chuck the printer away.
Good at quality of printing but the noise is very irritating.

Great value purchase. I use it privately for printing pictures and cards and find it very cost effective as well as producing a quality end product.

I bought mine second hand and its great , quality printing and its great for my college work. Only fault is that the ink is quite expensive. Other than that its fine. Also installing on a computer is harder than installing on a laptop.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This product was purchased for me in my first year of a four year university course. It worked fine until I had to replace the ink cartridge. It never worked again and when I discovered that the print head was damaged and I contacted HP as it was still under warranty, they to their credit sent a whole new printer. However, I am now experiencing the same problems with this printer after only a matter of months. I am now in the third year of my course and unfortunately have only had the use of my own printer for some six to nine months in total.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
