speakerphone echo's sometimes, and thr caller Id does not give you the name of the person all the time, I guess depending on the person's telephone company. This is the only phone that I had do that. So I had to go in and put that person in the phone book so I would know who it was because it reads as Virginia, like it is a cell phone! then you have to click menu when in the caller Id to view the number when it does not display the name! Too much to do to view a call!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I use this frequently for conference calls via the base unit, and handset calls. Both have excellent audio quality and are easy to use. I like the design and color as well.
Pros: good audio quality, easy to use, pleasing design
I would recommend this to a friend!

I do not like the handsets keypad. You simply cannot quickly push buttons. you have to hold each button for near a second.
Also, when I receive a call from a long distance caller, I see the 10 digit number, but I canot simply press redial because I need to prepend the number with a 1. it is faster to write down the number and key it back into the handset with the 1 or, dial it at the base.
Limitd backgroud images and ring tones. No way to upload custom images or ringtones
Pros: uses standard rechargable aa batteries
Cons: keypad action
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
