Horrible

Biggest piece of garbage I have ever bought. Jammed after third use. Removed the paper like the instructions say and still says jammed but theres nothing in there. No way to even get inside it and look. Thats what Iget for buying cheap. willnever buy epson again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best Printer Ever

Only had this printer about a month, but I can say that I just love it. It embodies, in just one accessory, so many functions earlier requiring multiple pieces of equipment. I especially like the ability to print pictures from my camera's digital card, & the prints are excellent. My only problem with it so far is that everything prints in color even though I specify B&W on the LED. I can't find anything in the manual addressing this problem. Perhaps someone out there can help???

This is my fourth Epson in the last 7 years. The last three
all failed when the pump system broke down. I just hope that this will not be the case with printer. Looks great and
prints text fast and being a 4 in 1 All in one makes it very
handy. Like the idea of separate cartridges, bu they appear to be very small so replacement will come often. Can't complain about the price as it cost is about what a set of replacement ink cartridges would cost. We have a CX8400 that is proving to be a workhorse and if the NX415 gives us the same good service we will be happy. My only gripe with Epson that is hasn't fixed the pump failure problem that has plagued these printer for years.

Epson Stylus NX415

I am largely a photo enthusiast. I am an in-studio photographer, thus, when I print photos, I will only hang the ones that I would be proud to give my customers. This printer is excellent for that.
I give it a 4.5 rating because I have to constantly change the settings. It comes with automatic settings and even if I print 2 different portrait 5x7 photos, back to back, I have to go into the second 5x7 portrait, push print, and I have to change the settings all over again. Make sure to UNmark the "fix photo" option. It's ridiculously awful!
It's been 2 months since I purchased it, and I still love it. It's small enough to fit on a small desk, but big enough to scan my 8x10 photos for digital storage. The scanning bed works well if you read the instructions carefully and make sure the right setting is used. It automatically "fixes" the photo if you don't change the setting. The "fixing" is awful here, too!
Like any printer, it can be your worst or best friend depending on how much time you take to get to know it. Use only Epson quality paper. All other papers drain the machine and do not turn out a "hang-able" project.

so far this litter printer is great ,,, the cost as well cost is great,,, all my other epson 7800. 580 , 88, this is equial to them ,,, for a child in school it the best for them ,

Setup was a breeze. Prints, copies, and scans with excellent results in all categories. I am an advanced amateur photographer and I can't tell the difference between the Epson prints and the photo lab. Look past the moderate noise and think about why you purchase a printer.....the NX415 produces !!!

I recommend this all-in-one printer to anyone.I'm impressed with the way it prints photos. The photos are clear and look great. When I photo copy or print something off the computer it looks very professional. I's easy to set up your photos to crop them or adjust them how ever you need them.I can't say enough about this piece of equipment.I am only a begginer at using this type of equipment and I find it easy to understand and function. Again, I would recommend this ALL-IN-ONE printer to anyone.
