Great TV for Great Price

It a great tv for the price. This is my first LCD/LED TV and I just hooked it up to HD. I do see some artifacts occassionally, but all LCDs will do that. The color is fantastic the sound is the best I've heard on an LCD (although you certainly can do better with a surround sound system). The blacks are black and I haven't had a problem with viewing angle or anything. I also mounted this TV with a smaller "medium" wall mount, because the VESA mounts and weight fo the TV didn't require large mounting hardware.
Pros: Quality, easy to use, Style/Design
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great TV

The TV has an excellent picture. It is hooked up to a Directv hd receiver and a ps3. Blu ray movies are razor sharp. Standard dvds also have a great picture. I am extremely happy with this purchase. I would definitely buy this TV again.

We bought our LG after many years of only purchasing Sony. We did a lot of research and are absolutely amazed at the quality and brilliance of our LG. We are satisfied beyond belief with our LG and will continue to be loyal customers.

AMAZING LIFELIKE PICTURE!

This TV is simply amazing. You almost feel like the people on the TV are in the room with you. We got this TV just before the Winter Olympics and we felt like we were there! Very easy to set up and use. This is by far the best TV we've ever owned.

Over all its an ok TV. Has some good qualities to it, but not 100 % satisfied. Have some problems with some of the picture selection features. When you select the CINEMA features it makes the picture really dark. I like the brightness and colors of the VIVID picture feature the best but, the picture gets blury when from scene to scene. As for hooking an stereo sound system into it that is the most disappointing thing. You have to imput you sound system into a 2-in-to-1 jack and you do not get a quality sound. So If you are not interested in hooking this tv into a good sound system then the current speaker sound built inside the tv will be fine.

Cons: Features/Settings
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Picture - Great Price

The 47LH90 is a great value. The picture quality is impressive and the price is reasonable for what you get.
The black levels are stunning for a LCD, although in when the the screen is almost entirely black with just writing (like a single line credit for a movie) the edges of the light area are dimmed. This seems to be the result of the LED dimming not being fine grained enough. In all other situations it's superb.
I personally turn off the TruMotion 240hz feature for everything but sports. Otherwise it makes everything look like a soap opera, as if it were on video instead of film. This isn't an issue with this TV in particular it seems to be every manufacturer that supports this feature.
The inputs are plentiful and well laid out.
When adjusting settings the main menu goes away and a smaller menu comes up at the bottom so you can see the result of the setting change in real time. This takes the guess work out of some of the advanced features.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Quality
