Works Great but battery doesn't last long

Since this mouse needs AA batteries, they need to be changed constantly. i noticed that the reason why it wouldn't last as much is because i use this mouse 9 hours a day at work and 5 days a week. i soon realized that the usb port must be attached back onto the mouse after using it in order for the mouse life to last. before, i used to just leave the usb port on my laptop at all times, causing the AA battery to last about 3 weeks. now that i attach it back onto the mouse, it lasts me about 6-8 weeks. and imagine, i work over 40 hours in one week alone. so i would say it would be PERFECT for house use. i would definitely recommend this product, regardless of the battery problem. but at least it uses only ONE single AA battery, so it's worth your money.
