WOULD NOT BUY AGAIN

I have been rather disappointed with my Epson printer. One, it is not quiet when printing ...even in quiet mode. The ink runs out WAY TO FAST. And when one cartridge runs out, you can't even print in black or scan. It is not user friend either.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Epson NX400

I bought this to replace a Lexmmark I'd had for several years, so far, so good, although it is noisier than I'd like, and my first attempt at printing started with a paper jam. I like the idea of only having to replace the color (s) that are low with a new cartridge as opposed to the whole thing.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent unit across the board

This is my 4th Epson product and I'm totally impressed with it as I am with the others.
The set up was extremely easy right out of the box and the software loaded instantly with no problems. Something you can't say about a lot of other brands. Both the instruction manual and NX400 itself are very user friendly. The NX400 is very easy to use. The scanner is wonderful. I was amazed that an 8X10 portrait of my late wife came out better than the original. The features that are built in are trerrific and produce very solid professional results. The photo quality is second to none. As with all Epson printers, the individual ink carts are a super saver in not only time but also money. The only down side is not really a down side. The NX400 is a little louder when printing than my other units but not that distracting.
I fully expect the NX400 to be as trouble free and reliable as my other Epson units. It's an excellent value for the price. Heck, it's an excellent value at any price.

It did suprise me that it didnt have the to cable to hook up to a PC but luckily I had one from another printer, but overall I have had real good results with this printer, good quality and easy to use. I did buy the extra ink cartridges with the printer because they always give you starter (1/4 Full) cartridges. I also got some quality glossy paper and some matte paper and have had very nice pictures printed

Good Results

After four months of pretty heavy use, I have had much better than average results with the NX400 -- and I am pleasantly surprised by what I consider is economical ink usage.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Worst Printer Ever

I bought this printer because I need a multi-function printer that could also print great pictures and I am completely disappointed. Poor picture quality no matter how much I adjust the preferences. It does not do what it says it can do. It truly is not even appropriate as a 'Basic' all in one printer. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your money on this one!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
