Stainless Range hood

This unit looks good and works well. The motor is very loud when on the high speed. The lights work well but would be better suited set back a little further. The hood vent cover should be redesigned it is flimsy and not easy to install correctly and plumb. The bracket is flimsy and doesn't support the weight very well. There also should be something made to make for a better transition to the ceiling.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sleek modern style external venting hood

This hood came with the house we had built so was chosen be the builder. This hood adds to a modern decor with its sleek lines and push button controls. The lighting has various levels as the fan. Only negative is the fan noise seem higher than I like.

over time, the open/close flap can falls on the motor when vent fan is on causing motor to burn and die. individual major parts are very expensive to replace, cheaper to get a new unit.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Wall-Mount Hood

This is the first wall-mount I have owned that actually works well on the lowest fan setting as well as the highest. The fan cover tower is very long, easily adjustable, and accommodated our 9 foot ceiling. Works great over the 36" cooktop. The lighting is excellent and the fit and finish is top notch.

The range works exceptionally well and it looks great. Very happy with our decision. My only recommendation would be to replace the halogen light bulbs with LED.

Vent away cooking smells

awesome product. We cook indian food that tends to be very fragrant (or smelly) due to the spices. this GE vent absolutely sucks away all the smell.

Nice looking hood

We bought a new home and were able to design our kitchen. Decided to pick this hood because it’s design and to match our 36’ stove , it really looks great . The main issue is the noice when fan is on , it would be nice if GE use a less noisy motor, other than that we really like it
