Great filtering, not the most user-friendly interface

This air purifier does an excellent job of filtering and purifying the air in a single room. We are using this in our bedroom, and it functions as a fan, white noise machine and air purifier. That's some pretty heavy lifting for such a small device! I am not super-impressed by the electronics of this device. For starters, if you want to use this with the night light off, you have to select that each time you power on the unit, even if it remains plugged in. The fan speed choice, on the other hand, does persist after you power-off with the power button. However, if the power goes out (or it is unplugged) you have to manually turn the purifier back on and re-make the speed and light selections. If you are using this as white noise for a child/infant, that means you would have to go into their room to reset this after power failure. Or a more likely scenario, this cannot be used with a smart outlet to automatically turn on. Not the greatest design. For those who are annoyed at how loud this is on high please realize that it is nearly silent on low. If you want this to filter your room, it needs to move air. There is certainly a trade-off between filtering capability and noise, but I am impressed that they were able to make a device that allows the user to select between really quiet and really good filtering. That is, if you need it to purify the air quickly, turn it on high; if not use a lower (quieter) setting. Pros: -Compact design, small and light -Can be set on floor or on table/dresser -Night light which can be turned off for -Selectable fan speed from very low, to moderate, to jet engine take-off -3-filter design keeps cost down -Wide base makes it stable -Hidden cord storage Cons: -It is a little awkward to move, since there really isn't a good handle -Light mode selection does not persist on power-off (have to turn off light each time) -Does not return to previous fan speed after being unplugged (or power failure) -Buttons are not the easiest to press

Wish I knew about this product sooner

My husband and I have been using Purio in our son's bedroom for about a week now. We love this one much more then our other air purifier because Purio is much smaller and safer for his room. We like the option to be able to have the light on the purifier, this will come in handy when he gets older we can use it instead of a night light. Not sure we like that it defaults to the light mode when we turn it on each time. It is nice that it has the option to use it as a white noise machine. However, we feel level two fan is too quiet and level three is too loud. It would be better if level two fan is a little louder. For us during the summer months it's not such a big deal because we have a floor fan going as well. When we go to clean Purio it seems very hard to open the filter door. You feel like your going to break it. Over all we are very happy with this product and wish we knew about it sooner.
Pros: Convenient Use, Easy To Clean, Portable, Safety, Sturdy Construction

Love this air cleaner

I really wished the child lock worked because I have a toddler in the home that is very curious. The story bought it from is a very long drive, everything else works just fine so I will keep this
