A good device as 2nd screen on PC

The feature of supporting HD is the best choice to be compatible to PCs with TV tunner as a 2nd screen. That make it easy to use my PC with my framework while watching the programs I like. If HDMI could plus to its feature and make IQ touchsmart seriers extended an HDMI connector, they would be dream partners.

Great Monitor but missing key basic feature

I only have one thing to say. The monitor is great but the darn thing is not height adjustable! What a terrible feature to be missing from such a fine monitor...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Really I was thrilled after getting this LCD MONITOR, really thanks to HP technology , Bright view of text and I felt as if i am in Movie theatre. The sound is average ,but i fixed extra JBL SPEAKERS from singapore to give extra touch of sound. Even though the monitor got HDMI port , the DVI port delivers excellent sound and multimedia content. The colour adjstment options are really good, Even the Menu and adjusting the features is also very easy. Very nice Plug and Play monitor. They should have provided HDMI Cable also along with it. Over all apart from Sound , HP 2159M is excellent Choice and I would like to recommend everybody this Monitor. Without any hesitation one can go for it.

Great HD Monitor

I bought this monitor because it is 1080p. Great little monitor for watching hd video or everyday computer use. It has a nice design and goes good with any HP desktop. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars in overall is because mine has a dust particle wedged in between the glass and screen. I do not want to send it in for repair because I'm worried how it might be returned to me. I sent my laptop in for repair a year or two ago and it was returned to me fixed but full of scratches. Great product none the less. Buy it!

HP 21.5" Monitor is Awesome

I recently upgraded my 19in. Hanns-G monitor to this one and all I can say is it is definitely worth it. One can't go wrong with this choice, superior picture and sound. I eventually plan on using this for a combined tv/entertainment setup and can't wait to see how this monitor receives high-def channels. Hats off to HP on this one! Keep up the good work!

HP 2159m Monitor

Response, clarity, and color saturation are excellent. Video's are as good as any flat-screen TV.
One of the reasons I choose this monitor is that it is one of the few that has a 'Bright' display. It is not the matte screen offered by some. I like this feature as it produces clearer more striking images. Reflection of background is not a problem with the HP BrightView screen and like the result.
