[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is impossible to convey how happy I am with this Maytag cooktop, it is superb! The distance between the burner and the grates improves the efficiency of the cooktop dramatically, as compared to my other cooktop. Actually there is no comparison to any other cooktop I have ever used! A beautiful addition to my kitchen, and since the burners are not embedded into the cooktop it is so much easier to clean! Wish I hadn't waited so long to get the Maytag, best choice ever!

Hard to Control

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the 3rd gas stove we’ve owned but the first Maytag. It gets 5 Stars for the look and style but I gave it a two for performance. It’s impossible to control the heat…all the burners cook way too hot except the small simmer one. I am very disappointed in this appliance.

The only thing that concerns me is the durability of the knobs which wiggle a bit much for my liking.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall cooktop works fine, easy to clean & looks great. My only complaint is that the igniter is too sensitive, you have to be careful because the slightest amount of weight on the knobs will cause the igniter to start clicking.
