Misleading and poorly designed product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am in the middle of a kitchen renovation and purchased this custom panel dishwasher because I wanted it to match my other cabinetry. After receiving the dishwasher and having the front panel installed, I learned that the door did not open. This is because the front panel hits the toe panel at about the 45 degree mark. My only solution is to cut 2" off the bottom of my cabinet door so it has enough clearance to open. This will look very strange since the doors have a thin trim around the border.
It is baffling to me how this could be so poorly designed and misleading. It's worth mentioning that my cabinet fronts are standard height (30"). Had I known that the cabinet door front would have to be a different height than the others, I would have just purchased a standard front.
This has been such a frustrating experience. I was so excited to purchase new appliances, but instead it has been a headache. I doubt I could ever recommend Bosch to anyone.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

SUPER Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having had a full-sized Bosch dishwasher in my home, I knew I wouldn't settle for anything else when I down-sized into a small condominium. I've had a number of visitors since moving, and they all are overwhelmed with the dishwasher. It hasn't met a single thing that it couldn't clean. And is it quiet!!! I am so very glad I went with Bosch.

Silverware Top Drawer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We removed the silverware top drawer. The dishwasher is useless with the top silverware drawer installed - common wine glasses do not fit with the silverware drawer installed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased the smaller size 18 inch Bosch, panel ready dishwasher for our Kitchen renovation. We have been without a dishwasher for 10 years, so this is a long anticipated addition to the kitchen. It was installed at the end of February 2020, but then the COVID 19 lockdown caused our kitchen renovation to be on hold. The contractor was not able to complete the kitchen at this time. It is partially installed, but it still needs the custom panel to be attached to it. But, I can tell that we will love it. In our last home we left befind a Bosch full sized dishwasher that we absolutely loved. What I like already about this one, is the smaller size that will be a better fit since it is only my hushand and I living in our home. I really can't wait for the panel to be installed so that we can use this dishwasher. We know Bosch is exceptional and look forward to the quiet operation. I love the fact that it will match our new, red cabinets.

Great dishwasher

Even though it is a smaller version it is organized well and certainly gets the dishes clean. The instructions for mounting a face plate to it were not super clear, but I eventually figured it out. Highly recommended!!

Performs better then expected.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Did not have room for full size dishwasher. I have an eight year old full size in another home. This one has third rack for cutlery. I like this better then basket in bottom shelf. dies a good job.

It was going to take something special!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a historic home over 100 years old. I’m trying to restore her to her previous glory, I was finding it difficult to include a dishwasher in the floor plan. Most pieces then were freestanding. I don’t necessarily like the portable dishwasher idea. I took a chance with this and it paid off! This is not enclosed in a built in cabinet so the closed sides were important. It was also important to have it blend into the look. We used the headboard that runs throughout the kitchen for the front panel and made a top of 3” thick wenge board. It’s beautiful and quiet! It doesn’t have the capacity of a normal washer so keep that in mind. Otherwise it’s a fabulous machine!
