Great Refrigerator !!!

Two Thumbs Up !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have an RV ( recreational vehicle / 5th wheel ) that has the small refrigerator which went bad ... I purchased this whirlpool refrigerator to replace the stock refrigerator that came with the RV ... though the original refrigerator ( not whirlpool ) was connected to propane, electric / 12V ; all i had to do is turn off the propane and have the connection to the old refrigerator PLUGGED and disconnect the refrigerator from the outlet ...it is NOT HARD WIRED ...I made the necessary insulation repairs and the NEW WHIRLPOOL just slid in ... leaving ample space ( the required 3 inch clearance required on top of the refrigerator ) I highly recommend this model as a replacement refrigerator for an RV . Though the RV refrigerator has the same cubic footage as the whirlpool refrigerator; Ironically the space in the new whirlpool refrigerator is so much bigger so .... more items to put in the refrigerator and a much bigger freezer for that extra meat and ice cream ...

great improvement

This refrigerator was in our new Forest River RV. It;s a big improvement over our last RV frig. The only complaint we have is the freezer does not have a shelf. The picture shows one.The salesman said at least 10 people have questioned that. We tried to contact Whirlpool with no response

Overall I am very disappointed with this refrigerator. We have a smallish space and although I shopped assiduously for years, it seemed that everything out there was too deep and too tall.Love the glass shelves, and the curved handle-free design, so I went for this model.CONS:1) the shelves on the doors, both freezer and fridge, are just a bit too shallow to hold most of what would logically go on them.2) Have to choose between a half gallon of milk and a bottle of wine on the door. Not room enough for both!3) TOO NOISY! If I could return this I would. The sound of the motor wakes us up at night (and we do not sleep in the kitchen). We tried replacing the feet and adding soundproofing, but there is a harsh noise coming from the motor itself that seems to come through no matter what we do.I wish refrigerators were made for real kitchens. All of them are too deep, take up too much floor space. Our old fridge fit perfectly, but now, to get something less than 29" deep and less than 65" tall, we had to give up a lot of capacity. This was the only choice out there, and it is so noisy I have actually thrown my shoes at it more than once!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love this product. It's just right for me. No loud motor (like the other reviews). The only "sound" I hear is from an" added feature" of the icemaker making ice (water sound and when the ice drops into the "empty" bucket), otherwise it's quiet. Glass shelves are nice and the compartments for other items has plenty of space .

I've bought several big, beautiful appliances in the last few years, but this is by far my best purchase. It's small -- just exactly the right size for a single person who likes to put on a big meal from time to time. But the freezer (the most-needed section for me as a single who has lots of left-overs to freeze) is roomier than the freezer on my previous fridge, which was twice the cubic footage of this fridge. It fits well into a tiny kitchen, and isn't so tall that I can't reach the top. Doors close more securely than my fancy fridge doors, it's quieter and easier to clean. I really like it a lot, and the price was great.

I really like my Whirlpool Refrigerator,we bought it for our RV.It has twice the capacity,and still fits in the confined area! I'ts very modern with the black sleek suface and its design is fantastic!It adds a touch a class to our motor home! It has plenty of space;I really like that it has the quality of my home refrigerator,and it keeps everything nice and cold! The freezer is also very nice with plenty of room even with the ice container in there,and thats great because I gotta have my ice! Thanks Whirlpool for creating a great product, and also a very reasonably priced one as well,because I've always loved a great bargain! Sincerely,Mrs.Sears (how irontic right that my last name is Sears,unfortunately not any ownership of Sears products,lol)
