I did not see this dishwasher before it was put in by my contractor who did my kitchen over, but if I had I would NOT have picked this model. It is way too small inside. The top rack looks like it is an apartment size. Only can get about 4 salad bowls on it, etc.
I bought this a year ago almost to the day. It is way smaller inside which you never notice in the store. I can tolerate that to a point. It cleans ok if you rinse prior to loading. I have a tankless water heater set at 130 degrees and it still doesn't get everything off. The sides don't go down enough so I can see thru to the metal frame bad design. No I am a year in and it doesn't even clean unless it is half loaded. Don't Waste your money on this product.

Thank you for your review, Myzohole. We regret to hear the difficulties you are experiencing with your dishwasher at this current time. We do suggest to make sure the water temperature to the appliance is set between 120*-140*F. This is the minimum temperature range that the water supply must reach in order for the detergent to dissolve completely. Also, make sure the filter trap at the bottom of the unit is free of debris. You may also want to clean the unit by running a hot water/dry cycle with no dishes inside, and throw in 2 cups of white vinegar in the unit. This cleans the sprayer arms, and the unit and also deodorizes the unit. If you still notice the food particles on your dishes after checking the water supply, and cleaning the unit, please try changing detergent's to a gel or liquid detergent. Powder tends to build up and corrode parts of the unit. For best loading tips, please see "Preparing and Loading Dishes" found on pages 8-10 in your Owner's Guide. Hope this helps! -Kindly, Jennifer
Purchased a brand new home last year and this dishwasher was already installed with the home. Wasn't sure about the Frigidaire brand but I can honestly say that we are more than pleased with this dishwasher. Not only does it look good but the functionality and quality is very good. Our dishes come out clean and streak free everytime. We have other Frigidaire appliances so we would defiantly recommend them to our family and friends.
I found this model to be smaller inside (front to back) than my previous dishwasher. It does not have a top shelf basket for small items, glasses fall over easily and the noise level is loud enough to be heard in the next room. It was recommended because the front went with the design of the other Frigidaire appliances I bought.

Hello, Peggy2.
Thank you for sharing your experience and the continuing support of the Frigidaire Brand. I want to personally thank you for sharing your important quality and design concerns. I do recommend our Delicate-Care Soft Grips to hold your stemware in place. The grips help keep your delicate stemware from moving during the rinse cycle. If you have any additional concerns or questions about your Frigidaire Dishwasher, please give us a call directly. Again, I appreciate your feedback and comments. –Kindly, Derrick
Works well, except sometimes we have to lean on door for it to register as closed. Sound is a little quieter than expected. One oddity is that there is one control button where there is a discrepancy between what the owners manual says it should be labeled and how the button is actually labeled.
This dishwasher works as expected, no issues. Side placement of silverware tray beneficial. Rack layout workable. Stainless steel interior nice. Different cycle options span a reasonable range of times. Installation was no more or less difficult than one would expect. Good value for price, in my assessment.
Note that as a general rule this household does not "recommend" nor "not recommend" items to others, regardless of the performance of the item, and that is the reasonable for checking "No" on "would you recommend."
Does not dry the dishes or silveware. I would never recommend this product to anyone, friend or enemy!

Hi, Gerry Hintlian! Thank you for your feedback and comments concerning your Frigidaire Dishwasher. I recommend checking your water if your dishes are not getting cleaned or drying properly. Your water temperature is recommended to be 120°F and the water pressure should be 20 to 120 pounds per square (psi). Please do not hesitate to call us for any further questions or concerns. Thanks again, for being part of the Frigidaire Brand family! –Regards, Derrick
We were not intending to get a new dishwasher but our old one didn't fit after we installed tile floors in the kitchen. That 9/16 inch was just enough to eliminate most dishwashers, including our old one. I bought this one because it fit that smaller space and because it has the NO HEAT dry. Now I can use my "good" dishes and wash them in the dishwasher. The smaller size does have the downside of a smaller interior. A more sympathetic design of the bottom rack would benefit the use of the dishwasher considerably. I've bent the tines in the rack to hold more full sized plates but it's not optimal. There's only two of us so it's okay. The dishwasher works well and looks good. It will be fine. And I got $100 back from Monterey County for the low water use appliance.
