Worth for the Money spent

This 32" screen TV is worth for the price I bought it for. I bought this a couple of months ago. The picture seems to be nice and so does the sound. The settings are also very easy to navigate. It worked with Direct TV well. It would have been really nice if all the channels sound the same amount of decibels for the same volume setting. I know this option was there in LG's Golden Eye editions. Somehow the same is not present in this model. But the brightness and contrast settings work the same across channels. Another issue I could found is sometimes the TV takes a long time (around a minute) to warm up. Most of the times its almost instant. Though the picture is nice (compared to our good old CRTs), fast actions in stunts and rapid camera movements in the movies are not as sharp and smooth as we could have expected. This might be due to refresh ratio or something. Since I didn't spend much time watching other LCD TVs in the same class, I am not comparing with others. But LED TVs looks much better than this. Since the prices of LED TVs are coming down, better go for them.
Don't know what is the upgraded version now. I felt bad for the model being discontinued just after I bought this TV. Hope the warranty would still be honored.

Excellent Product

Very pleased with the purchase of this TV. The screen image is incredible.
Sound is equally high quality with the built-in speaker system.
It was an excellent choice as a companion to the BD370 Blu-ray Player I had previously purchased.
My only issue with the product was the missing screws for the mounting stand.
Since it has been discontinued, great deals may be out there.

Really nice set

I've had this TV for 4 months now. The picture is bright and sharp. Plenty of inputs for game consoles, blu-ray/dvds, Tivo. It's got a picture calibration tool which, while it might not be as good as having a professional calibrate your set, still does a more than admirable job. It looks good on its stand. I don't really have an opinion on the sound since I've got all my audio running through a tuner. My only real complaint about this set is the manual doesn't really do much in the way of explaining the various AV Modes or the energy saver settings. Overall, it's a terrific TV especially for the money.

What a difference

We reluctantly had to replace a very old TV around Christmas time. As technically challenged empty nesters we were concerned about the difficulty in hooking it up. Well, we were so surprised at how easy it was to hook up, so much so that we decided to call customer service to check if we had done it right. The picture is so clear and beautiful, and the colors are true. We really like this TV, it makes everything we watch more enjoyable.
As an added bonus we realized an average $25.00 savings on our electric bill every month since we got the new TV. (the TV was the only thing that changed in the house) We are now sold on LG. Thank You

The tv is great the only downfall is that there isn't any standard audio outputs only optical.

The best tv I've owned

This is the best TV, that i've ever owned, by far. It has a lot of features that I figured would come with a new tv, like sleep, and a lot that I wasn't expecting. Being able to turn off the display when trying to fall asleep is nice. It's able to change the zoom rate, so the annoying games and movies that try to play in wide screen, i can make play in normal mode. It was really worth getting a upgrade from a CRT, although I wasn't expecting it to be so nice.

Perfect for the bedroom

Unbelievable picture quality, plenty of connections for other equipment, IE. DVD player, cable/satellite box, games. I love the different settings for sports, movie, and other , I don't have surround sound in the bedroom (comm'on it's a bedroom) but the sound is fantastic. and the sleep timer is a nice option
