The 370 exceeded my expectations. Turns out we use it to stream Netflix more than anything. With all the TV shows to stream, it makes me think about dumping satellite TV.
The character selection for finding a YouTube could be improved if the number buttons on the remote worked like a text phone. My DishNetwork TV remote does that, and it's the next best thing to a keyboard.
Our DVD collection looks and sounds fine on this player. The Blue Ray's I've played are astounding with no video issues so far on my LG plasma TV.
When playing a CD, it would be nice if the front panel displayed a track number so I could leave the TV off to skip to tracks on an album.
Here's my suggestion - in addition to Netflix, I'm hooked on Pandora Radio - lets get an update to this unit that will let Pandora stream. I would propably pay a one time fee to be able to get that upgrade.
Pros: Quality, Features/Settings, easy to use

Plays Blu-Rays, plays DVDs, plays Netflix, plays YouTube. What else could you ask for? One thing, an update from Netflix to browse on the device for new movies. Thats all. Thats not LG, thats Netflix. So this is perfect. So easy my children use it (5yrs and 8yrs old).
Pros: Quality, Features/Settings, easy to use, Performance, Style/Design

Very Fine BD Player!

I bought this player because my wife didn't like the very slow boot time of the Super Blu player I had upstairs in the den. This new player is really fast, and keeps the spouse content. I like the extra internet features that come with my USB wireless router connection.
For the price, the LG BD370 is an excellent value.
Pros: Features/Settings, easy to use, Performance

A great player for the money. Netflix and You Tube are great additions (Haven't tried Cinema Now yet) Set up was a breeze and the quality is top notch all the way around.

Great Value For The Money
on October 31, 2009

This is a great Blu-Ray player for the money with the features it has. But.... CinemaNow is worthless, and VUDU capability is one step up with LG's BD390 and $125 (or so) more. Netflix works GREAT on this after choosing your Que online. For a real treat try Queing up "Harper's Island" TV series. After watching a few movies in standard definition, which is fine, this came up in stunning HD.
Oh, and for a response to not having WiFi. I decided on buying this unit because I found my UVerse set top box has the needed Ethernet port on the back! UVerse ties it all together for my setup.
The box is integrated to your computer network when you have both UVerse internet and TV and the internet is right there. I don't know how the cable company STB's are, take a look at the back of yours.
Don't think more services will be available for this network player. VUDU and other services require DNLA, more memory, and more capability than this one has.
Pros: Quality, Performance
I would recommend this to a friend!
