Great purchase!

I purchased this HDTV back in November and have been very happy with it since. At first I didn't realize you had to have special HD cables in order to see the HD programs and therefore the picture was all stretched and distorted across the screen. But once I got set up correctly the picture is gorgeous! This was a very inexpensive set for what you get. The only problem I have noticed is that closed captioning doesn't work thru HD cables. This is very odd. I think I have to go through my cable box in order to use closed captioning. Regardless, I would highly recommend this to anyone who is lucky enough to find one since it has since been discontinued.

Great TV

I ordered this tv in November of 2009 and I'm so happy I did. I was in the market for a new TV for my bedroom and once I saw this one, I knew my search was over. I have a 50" LG Plasma in my living room and I was looking for that same quality with upgraded features for my bedroom. This one is it. It had everything that I was looking for and then some. It's easy to change the picture mode according to what I'm watching but the setting that I use is so great that I hardly use this feature. Same with the sound...I love how it levels the sound of commercials that are louder than others. I love my LG's so much that I just replaced another bedroom TV with an the 42in LD450 and I'm looking into replacing my daughter's bedroom TV with and LG as well.

Love the quality of this TV. I have never been let down by an LG product. I've been using them since way back when no one had really heard of LG.
Only complaint I've ever had about this product is the bevel around the LCD screen. It is a shiny back - think shiny like a grand piano. The fashion in which it is attached to the rest of the TV causes waves in the surface, probably pulling tension where the screws are. Really minor that the only thing I can pick on is cosmetics.

The television is a great value if you can get a good price. The 1080p allows for great quality for movie playback is great. The 60 hz refresh rate is sometimes noticeable. Overall it is wel made and ideal for anyone who wants to use it for gaming, movies, television or even as computer monitor.

I purchased this TV as a Christmas present. I Love It! I did considerable research before deciding on this TV. Picture quality is great. Sound quality is the best of any other model I previewed. I would and have highly recommended LG products to my friends and associates.

Absolutely one of the best HD tvs I have owned. I have owned several other models and brands but this LG is the best in color, clarity, setup, and sound.

The TV has an excellent picture. Easy to hookup and no problems with the remote. Would highly consider purchasing another LG product.
