Very good tv

Excellant television. NIce sleek design. PIcture quality is very good. Picture seems to jump out when watching a hdtv channel. The only thing I would like to see better is the volume. SOmetimes it hard to hear even when volume turned up.
Pros: Quality, easy to use, Performance, Style/Design

This TV went far above my expectations. First of all, I was able to install it all by myself. The weight was very unexpectedly light. My other TV of like kind but not an LG is very heavy and takes my husband and I to move it. The picture is great, operation from TV to DVD status was very easy. I am considering purchasing another one for our bedroom. Great, great buy.

I'm so glad I took the opportunity to puchase this TV. The size is great for my small apartment, the picture quality is fantastic and it was sooo easy to setup. Overall look is beautiful.
The only con is the sound quality. I need to hook up additional speakers to boos the sound.

The picture and sound on this set is magnificent and I love the energy saving feature. The one thing I wish it had is the capability to pull in television scheduling for those of us who are using antennas instead of cable tv. The converter box that was hooked up to our previous older tv had a remote that allowed us to see a timeline of upcoming programs.

Cons: needs access to tv schedules

We purchased this tv a few months ago for our bedroom...it's the perfect size. My husband and granddaughter set it up within about 20 minutes or so and the picture was alright until we got our satelite hooked up....WOW!!! The color is so very vivid and clear, especially the HD channels. I love the sleek style/pedestal. It sits on a dresser and is the perfect height for laying in bed and watching tv. I am so pleased that we bought the LG brand!!!!

lcd panel fail

Right out of the box this TV failed. The LG tech claimed it needed a new lcd panel. I could wait a week to 10 days for the parts to arrive and schedule another service call or return it to the store. Returned it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
