First HD TV Great Buy

This is my first HD TV after having the same tv for 10 years. After a lot of research and advice I selected this tv because of recommendations and the price. So far so good!

Everything is great! I called my cable supplier and they sent a tech to hook up everything, they supplied plug-in cables and reset it for HD. What a big difference!
Pros: Performance, Features/Settings, Quality, Style/Design, easy to use

Pretty nice TV

Although the resolution is only 720P this is a nice television. The picture is clear and sharp; however the audio is not as loud as it could be. The design is nice and the TV features are easy to use.
Overall I gave this TV a three star rating because of the 720P resolution and the lack of audio power. At the price it is a value.

I purchased this TV for a bedroom to replace an existing large tube TV. Much more space and picture much better even though I haven't connected it to high def cable box.
Pros: Style/Design, easy to use

Love this tv. Bought it for a large room and it's good to satisfy 6 gamers and 2 movie lovers in one larger room. That sound that it gives out is AMAZING! The only thing is that the hardware of the tv can't handle it. As we go higher on the volume it starts to give out this vibrating noise through the tv's hardware. Other than that, no sunlight reflection, had it for 3 years now and still no lack of anything and no dead pixels! Love the options it has to set to my type of viewing tv and the energy saver options too! Highly recommend it, if they still sell it, and got it for a very very very good price.

Broke in less than 3 years

Half the screen turned black. Went through troubleshooting with LG and they said it needs to be fixed by a technician. Definitely won't purchase TV's from LG again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
