At the new price point the HP Slate 7 is well worth the price. Looking forward to future HP tablets, and hoping for the latest version of Android on the HP Slate 7. Nice product HP, wish you never gave up WebOS.

I really enjoy my HP Slate 7. It is the perfect size for travel, and has all the features I would expect for a tablet of this price. The device feels sturdy and light. I would certainly buy it again and have recommended this device to others interested in an Android tablet.

I absolutely love my Slate 7!! It is so easy to use and love the size. It pulled all my apps that I had on my Droid phone. It is sleek looking and battery last along time. I had to wrestle it away from my kids because they love it too.

I am new to Slate so I was a little skeptical about buying one. Having said that, I have found it to be just what I wanted - easy to set up and use and fun to boot!

Great tablet

I was not sure of the 7 inch screen if I would be able to see everything clearly, to my surprise I can. This tablet is so easy to use and easy to carry around. I added more apps to mine with ease, and have watched movies and listened to music on it. The speakers are not bad for the size of the unit, but if you want louder sound you will have to add external speakers. I use the micro card slot for music and any added data that I do not want to keep on the tablet. I like that the screen rotates depending on how you hold it, and that feature can be turned off if you don't want to use it. The on screen keyboard is easy to use, but I have small fingers, I have also added my HP Bluetooth keyboard to the unit so I can use it for long typing. I like the Google chrome for surfing the web on. Over all I really like my HP Slate 7 and would recommend it to anyone looking for a tablet for use.

First let me say, I have had 2 different well known brands before the HP, and I can tell you from experience, this one is a head and shoulders above the others. It does what it is supposed to do
when it should. I would highly recommend the HP Android.

This product is good, for the price. Like others, I'm a little disappointed by the non-square pixels, and hope for an imminent upgrade to Android 4.2 (and beyond).
For those with battery issues, try rebooting into "safe mode" - I get about 4 days on a full charge doing fairly minimal work (background mail checks, occasional use), but very poor battery life (1 day or less) with certain widgets or background apps in play. My first Android product.
Note: I work for HP, but in the enterprise side of the company; for this purchase, I'm just a reasonably satisfied consumer.
