Hits the mark spot on

Overall the headphones hit all the marks for me: design and perfomance. Have tried many other brands and I would compare the quality of sound to be better than most. The comfort is great. I feel like I'm in the room that I am listening to the music. The extras are nice. I like that the cable to my iPhone is not made of plastic but, instead, a woven material. The benefit is that the cable does not get entangled with itself and become a puzzle to untangle all the time. The travel pouch is fairly nice. I think the packaging it came was very nice for the price range of the product as it was padded and it looks like it is recyclable.
I have yet to try the built-in microphone for calls but the Apple Play/Pause and Volume Up/Down control works as expected. The control is a nice size so I can control these features with my fat finglers. The only item I might point out as a miniscule complaint is the the audio jack is too close to the Apple controls so I often reach for the audio jack instead of the controls. Perhaps in future iterations you could combine or create a hybrid mechanism.
I purchased these for an airplane trip I'm taking as the standard earbuds are awful to use in these noisy environments. The requirments was a fair price, comfortable to wear for a period of time, compatible with my iPhone/iPods. This product hit all these marks on target!
Pros: comfortable, good value, great sound
Cons: cable jack and iphone controls too close together.
