Sometimes people say, "when you want a toaster, buy a toaster." This appliance pokes holes in that logic. It does many things well and some outstandingly. It is compact, takes up little space and is intuitively easy to work. Finest toaster or small oven we've ever had.
Our first Breville was very good to us for almost 2 decades, but we recently decided to get new unit. We went with the exact same model as before and, boy oh boy, this oven still claps
I have owned two of these ovens. The first one died, and I don't even remember how long I’d owned it or what went wrong because it was so long ago. What I remember is this: Breville replaced it. That oven is now 12 years old and still working, except that it toasts bread unevenly. I will order another Breville and hope that at lasts half as long as this one did!
I just want to give a shoutout for Breville customer service. Refreshing for a Company to be so helpful. I definitely enjoy my toaster oven and all its features.
The heating element of my SmartOvenPro is not working; Breville M#BOV800XL/A 120V60Hz1800W
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought my Breville toaster oven 12 years ago. For the past 6 months, we had difficulty starting the oven, as well as door issues. We contacted the service department which deemed our oven fixable. If not found to be fixable, it would be replaced with the same model. For a modest repair fee and free shipping, we had a new oven within nine days. I cannot state loudly enough how pleased we have been and continue to be with our toaster oven. LOVE IT! Worth every penny.
The fact that this is our 3rd Breville oven purchase says it all. These ovens are the best counter top ovens on the market. They cook a variety of foods well and are large enough to roast chickens and other main courses instead of heating up the big oven.
