I've had 3 of these over the past 20 years. Couldn't live without it. It is useful for many functions. I use it mostly for toasting, baking and roasting making it unnecessary to heat up the big oven. It is a perfect size for a one or two-person household.

I have a limited number of things I need an oven for: mostly small batches of cookies, warming frozen fish sticks and such, baking mini cakes, and making toast. For all oven-related tasks, the Breville Smart Oven is great. Even baking, good temperature regulation, and I love that it shuts off with the timer. No complaints at all about baking or roasting. My sole complaint is I can't get toast to my preferred degree of toastiness. On selecting the darkest toast setting, and nearly 7 minutes in the oven, the toast is only moderately toasty.
