This is a recent purchase but so far it works terrific. The shelf that slides out automatically when the door is opened stopped working after 5 days. But its a minor issue and I still give it the highest rating because it cooks very evenly and baked foods come out very hot.

I really like this oven. I used to love it, but then I started having issues with some basic functionality. First off, the knobs are not super accurate. They are either too sensitive or not sensitive enough. I always end up going past the setting I want. This is true for all of the knobs. Secondly, the convection fan is noisy and getting worse. Thirdly, on the toast setting, my bread is barely getting toasted from the underside. Used to be great, now it's barely toasting the bottom. I see the heating element is on, so I'm not sure why it's not working. It's like it's in Bagel Mode. My 15 year old Hamilton Beach toaster oven with fewer elements was a champ. I only got rid of in favor of the Breville due to the size.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
