The first one we bought went bad just before one year. Thermostat could not regulate properly during baking times. I was only able to get a replacement of the same model but I would not have chosen the same one. Hopefully the new one doesn’t go bad in a year also. Fingers crossed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The oven is a pleasure to use. I vastly prefer it to the wall oven, as it heats more quickly and consistently making baking effortless. Toasting bread is one of life's small pleasures. I'd buy this again in a heartbeat if ours broke - and after 9 years of several-times-a-day use/abuse ours finally did - and so I indeed bought one, and have renewed my appreciation for this most loyal of family members.
