We are very happy with our toaster oven. It toasts bread perfectly, bakes bread, pies and any other baked items without heating up the kitchen. We hardly use the oven since we purchased the Breville toaster oven.

This toaster oven has been used multiple times a day since bought in 2013.
A month ago the spring that holds the door up broke. Although still usable, the door will fall open heavily if not careful. A replacement spring is advertised online, but is on backorder everywhere. Luckily it is possible to reuse existing broken spring, although it was not easy to do.
Still going strong now.

Great appliance

I first bought this oven around 10 years ago and have always loved how versatile it's been, both for toasting and baking. A few months ago, one element stopped working, so I contacted Breville and made arrangements to send it back for repair. They made the process east and the cost seemed reasonable. Much to my amazement, they returned the oven to me with a brand-new unit. Great customer service!

Great product, great warranty policy We’ve had the oven for well over five years and when it stopped working, we made a call to Breville. They offered us a great deal on sending the oven in for repair and if it was unrepairable they would send us a new oven, which is what happened. We are thrilled that they are not having us toss these ovens into the landfill and buy new and their back up in support of the product is amazing.

I received this as a wedding gift 2 years ago, it worked great in the beginning. The past few weeks is has been overcooking things, the temperature feels very off and it started making this horrible noise no matter what setting it’s on. The buttons are also overly sensitive or never work s at all-there’s no middle ground.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Takes a beatin' & keeps on heatin'

We bought our Smart Oven 14 years ago. This is THE BEST TOASTER OVEN! I recommend it to all my family & friends.
I've only had 1 issue & that was the magnet not working to keep the door closed. That was an easy fix with a small magnet button we happened to have around the house. I cant even take 1 star away for that because even after 14 years this toaster oven still cooks as it did right out of the box. Thank you Breville!

Great Product With Loads of Features!!!

I commend Breville for standing behind their products. I appreciate the speedy response to my issue (Breville toaster oven wasn't heating). They offered to replace the toaster oven. Now that is what I call support and service. THANK YOU!!!
As for the product itself, this is my second Breville toaster oven. I gave the first one to my daughter. Breville toaster ovens are by far the best toaster ovens on the market in quality, features, build and easy of use. I have used the toaster oven in lieu of the regular oven 90% of the time in the past 5 years. It heats up faster, cooks better and doesn't heat up the entire house.
My goal someday (when I have enough $$) is to own the following Breville products - Microwave, coffee maker, food processor and immersion blender. Someday!!!
