Quality merchandise worth buying.

Using the HD camcorder at my daughter's soccer game is unexplainably AWESOME! The device is unique, compact, versitile, and very user friendly. I gave a five star for an overall rating cause not only can I use it and understand it but my wife loves it's friendly features and performance. Picture quality from the product to the TV is very sharp and particular...it's like being part of the recorded video. It's design is very unique and slim making it easy to stow away. Nevertheless it's value was made to fit my pocket book. Thank you Samsung for making quality merchandise. We have over five pieces of Samsung products in our home...we only buy the best!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, user friendly, versitile for all family functions and or business

i was quite suprised when i read and found that you can take videos and still pictures with this camera.

The fact that this can be used as a camera and a video camera sure impressed me. I like the lightweight compact design I can stuff it into my purse if needed. The menu button can be a bit challenging at times but I have mastered it. I absolutely love it. I would recommend it to anyone needing a video camera.

I have been very pleased with this camcorder. I bought it as a gift for my Grandson, who loves everything 'video', and he is having a wonderful time making movies. The range of features is outstanding, while it is also pretty easy to use.

Like everything about the camera except that it's very shakey and you have to have a very steady hand at times

Low price & ease of use = get more than one

I have two identical units to provide two angles when documenting concerts (classical music). They are adequate, small and reliable. The image is more than satisfactory for documentation -- quite good in bright light -- and the color is consistent between the two. The best part is that, when fully charged, they will run two hours unattended on the batteries supplied -- and charging is fast via the USB connector.
The unit has a standard tripod fitting, a built-in lens cover (with a warning if you forget to open it), and the typical array of features (anti-shake, face detection, etc.). Using the manual setups under controlled lighting has very nice results for an inexpensive camera.
Pros: Inexpensive, Bright display, Lightweight

This small handheld camcorder is lightweight, attractive and easy to use. I would have given 5 stars all the way except for the fact it only records in 720P at the high end. A nice touch would have been to add an external mike hook up as the built in mike is extremely sensitive. The optical zoom of 52X is awesome and would highly recommend the use of a tripod when using full zoom. This is a great cam if you use You Tube. For the price point this cam beats the competition hands down.

For starters, the Quick Start Guide is virtually useless. It is so small I cannot read it. In addition, the guides raise more questions than they answer.
And, as far as I can tell (with the utterly pathetic guide supplied), I need to have a memory card (and an adapter??) before I can even use this product. It is not useable out-of-the-box.
Would I recommend this product to anyone else? That’s a definite NO.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
