My son now uses this phone to listen to music, but besides the battery running down pretty quickly, this is still my favorite phone. I now own a Galaxy S8, but I miss my Note 4 and would have kept using it except for the desire for something that ran a little faster and was a little smaller. The Note 4 is an exceptional phone.
Why Samsung decided to cancel the ability for the user to replace the battery is obvious. My Note 4 still delivers great performance and I have 3 spare batteries on hand for when I'm on a critical job site. Sure... you can purchase an external battery pack. But when necessary, you can replace a battery that degrades over time with a new one and have great battery life until that one needs to be replaced. Love this phone knowing that I'll probably grab a new Note 8 or X unit to have as well. But this one stays in the family for sure.
Pros: Bright display, Durable
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love the Note 4

I was an owner of the Original Note and loved it. When my contract came up to renewal, I had heard rumors the Note 4 would be out in 6 months or so. I needed a new phone and I am so glad I waited. I am NOT a tech savvy person but I can figure out how things work. I have had to do just that with the Note 4. Everything that can be done with it is NOT included in the manual. I have been able to figure it out through trial and error or on internet blogs. I love the camera. I am still trying to figure out the group selfie. How to hold the phone and get everyone in it not looking wild is a very interesting learning experience. The Magnifier app is a big hit with me, especially as I age gracefully. Several have commented to me "That phone is too big". I remind them that I am of the era when cell phones were humongous and looked like a battery pack. They didn't fit in a purse or pocket. Beside, I use a bluetooth and you never see the phone while I am talking on it. I can't wait to show off all the features I love. Three friends have changed their minds about buying other competitors phones and are very happy with their new Samsung purchases. My only complaint or should I say small irritant is the phone comes with everything selected that I do not want selected. I have to go into every feature and turn things off. For example, I do not want my pictures to sync to the cloud. I do not want my facebook contacts to sync with my phone. I would rather have had the choice to check not to uncheck. I also must admit I would not have found out a lot of feature's I didn't know the phone had if I didn't have to uncheck them. The first two days I was a bit bothered when the bright light of the display woke me up in the middle of the night. Under the developers menu it was set to keep the display awake while charging. Because of the long battery life I only need to charge it at night. I would wake up and my room was totally lit up from the display. I figured it out and unchecked the option. I am thinking of buying the Gear S when it comes out on Nov. 10th. If it is not too big for my wrist I will definitely get it. I am very pleased with my new phone and plan to have it for a few years.

I really like Samsung products and the Note 4 lives up to my expectations. I like the thin looks and the quick responses.
Still a great product!!
Pros: Bright display
Cons: phones in general have gotten too expensive

I got my note 4 a couple months before the note 5 came out and I honestly cannot regret my choice ! Honestly, every feature this phone has, has come in handy at one point or another whenever I have had some trouble. Its been almost two years since I purchased the phone and yet somehow, I still feel as though my phone is still the new big thing. I love the reception that I can always fall back to anywhere I go. Finally I cannot get enough of the S Pen feature because it makes it easy to simply write down a note or it simply to have a little fun with a picture and it doesn't hurt that it also helps me by keeping my nieces or nephews entertained when they start playing with my phone Thank you Samsung.
