The note 4 is a great phone and the expandable memory is the reason i love this phone.

I love this phone because it has expandable memory, IR blaster a great screen resolution and also a great camera I'm looking forward to the Note 6 hopefully it will have an expandable memory and I will definitely upgrade.
Pros: Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, Lightweight, expandable memory, stylus pen
Cons: camera sometimes has problems focusing.

Very relevant phone to future design

The reason I chose the Note 4 over the Note 5 in a recent upgrade from the Note 3 (and previously 2) was the removable back with expandable memory and a battery that could be replaced. It does allow you to use the Android Pay option securely and hopefully this piece of product design will not be lost on future generations of the Note. Expandable memory is a key piece of why this phone is a key measure ahead of its competitors. Adding 128gb in a MicroSD card eliminates some of the near-term shortcomings of the cloud environment that has not yet perfected quick transfer rates and infinite free storage in many service offerings. That's why this phone was ahead of its time before we ever knew why.

Cons: late to receive os updates

Great phone!

I just "graduated" from a Note 1 to this 4....and I love it. Wow! I didn't know how slow and sad my other phone was until I got this one. I still like the old one but I couldn't download more apps and the charging port got to the point I could no longer charge. I still love the fact that I can change out batteries for the days I'm in the field and can't charge. The only semi-negative comment is I wish the battery last more than a day...with use. However, on standby with WIFI on, it lasts about 3 days. Regardless, it's still better battery life than the old phone because I had to sometimes have two extra batteries with me for a long day/evening of work. I will buy extra batteries for this one but I am sooo happy with it! With a 32 gb SD and phone, I am set!

Almost Great

I was excited when I bought this phone, but feel that it didn't live up to the hype. I like the stylus, I like the screen size, and I like Samsung products.
The great disappointment is the horribly short range of the blue tooth signal. You may get about 10 ft of quality signal, then it goes to garbage very quickly as you get any farther out. Normal blue tooth range should be about 30 ft. You will find many reviews backing this up.
This phone also will get to about 20% battery life, pop up a warning, then immediately shut down. This has been a constant problem for some time.
Lastly, nearly all of the preloaded apps are garbage (and as usual, you can't remove them). They take up space, and unless you set them to be deactivated, they will automatically update and cost you data and bandwidth.
Aside from those problems, the phone has been decent.
If Samsung brought their blue tooth up to standard, improved the OS and the battery, and either removed the junk apps or allowed them to be removed, this phone would be an easy 5 stars.
Pros: Bright display
Cons: Did not meet expectations, horrible blue tooth
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for making one of the best phones on the market. I didn't feel like even after a year and a half that it couldn't handle the newer technology!

The public needs to open their eyes and get off this iPhone obsession and start to get Galaxy Notes. I love my note 4 and everything about it. It's design is beautiful as well.
