Good product with some bugs

The Note 4 is a great phone for business and school because of all the vast capabilities . It gets the job done but there is a lot of maintenance that needs to get done on it to keep running fast. Since it has so much bloat ware coming from 3 different companies (<Carrier>, Google, Samsung), the phone gets slowed down. Also there are 2 different apps that do the exact same process for any basic process you would like to do. Also the battery lasts about 1.25 years before it becomes beneficial to swap it out for a new one. This phone is very sturdy and has many different cases that allow maximum utilization while also looking sleek and professional.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Durable, Lightweight, Built-in speakers
Cons: laggy, bloatware, buggy, year long battery
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Note is the workhorse of the Samsung family. If you use your phone all the time and need speed power and reliability this is the phone for you.
Pros: great screen, camera, stylus, good processor when released, 3 Gb ram, removable battery, micro SD card slot, ir blaster
Cons: got rid of second antenna!!! This means you have to hang up the phone to use mobile data. I don't mind paying extra to have this feature on my phone. Note 3 had it. Power and volume buttons in awkward places, battery needed to be replaced in a year (heavy user but follow all battery suggestions) mono speaker
Pros: Realistic color, Durable

I'm a 50+ guy. THIS is a large phone--my immediate concern was damaging it. With all the safety accessories available, the bigger screen & similar features to my previous Galaxy phone...I grew to appreciate this as an indispensible part of my life. POSITIVES: easy access to most every tab, function or app from the "home" screen, easy to read & access touch keyboard. NOT so POSITIVES: using text & phone while utilizing apps is nearly impossible...hard to access (or remember how) these when use of multiple functions are often necessary.
The price is ridiculous, but is for all phones. I appreciated the opportunity to upgrade the software by plugging in to my laptop...however, when my computer went to "sleep", the phone locked up (wouldn't turn on or off, or function at all) because the software update wasn't complete! After spending about an hour travelling to a store in a strange city that I was visiting for the first time, I was instructed call the 800 number (AGAIN) & plug the phone in again.
Pros: Durable, easy to read & touch
Cons: expensive, hard to use multiple functions at once

The Note 4 is the best of what an Android device should be. Curved displays should only be an option not an absolute. Hopefully the Note 7 will come in two variants or the Note 4 may be my last Samsung device. I need a durable device and a curved display would kill it. Please Samsung don't make me go elsewhere for a device. Consider front facing stereo speakers. It would make and excellent device even better.
