Best phone that I have ever had

Overall this is a great phone. I was a longtime iPhone user (3, 4 & 5) and have never been as happy with a new phone as I am with the Note 4. The big screen looks great, the performance is very fast. I love that I was able to add an SD card and put my entire 25 GB music collection on it and still have plenty of space available on the internal drive.
The one thing that I think needs improvement is the notifications. I really miss seeing unread counts for my emails and the ability to set VIP contacts so that I get notifications when I receive emails from those VIP contacts. Maybe this will be better when the Lollipop update comes out.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, performance, microsd slot
I would recommend this to a friend!

Incredible device, but not if you plan to use it as a phone

I just upgraded from the Note 2 to the Note 4 and love everything except the phone signal is so weak and I have spent hours online, in my (cellular) Store, etc., trying to get improved cell coverage. I am not sure why ____ has it set so you can't use their __(high speed)__ network and the phone at the same time, but why buy a state of the art phone that doesn't work as well in that capacity as a five year old model?
Maybe this is just a specific carrier issue, so I will be going to a different carrier to see if it is something with the phone's hardware.
I would love to LOVE this phone, but can't until this issue is resolved!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Lightweight, camera quality & virtual tour mode
Cons: cell phone reception poor
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the Galaxy Note 4!

I've had this phone for the past 3 months and it is impressive. The stylist is one of the nicest features because it allows me to keep my gloves/mittens on & still work with the phone (very handy in the upper mid-west in the cold winter months). The camera takes exceptionally good photos, MUCH better than the Samsung S4.
I do wish there were brighter colors to chose from in protective cases.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, easy to use
I would recommend this to a friend!

I like this phone it has, only one flaw that I can tell. I do not like how it does not read my SD card. I have a,high powered one and keeps, telling me error with SD card. I had same problem with now two phone. The other one I had to take back because it kept restarting the phone. I hope they fix problem because other than that I really like this phone.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: sd card error
I would recommend this to a friend!

Most functional phone in the world

This is the most functional phone I've ever used.
Pros:
1. Best screen I've ever seen on a mobile device
2. Feature rich, and I'm talking useful features, not just gimmicks.
3. S Pen is wonderful
4. Excellent camera
5. Removable battery
Here's my wishlist for the Note 5.
1. Much smoother and snappier software with every lag expunged. (there's currently annoying lag in the recents app, camera, gallery and S Note - these features are very important to me and I would love to have Samsung fix this)
2. Much better battery life (what I would give for a phone that will stay powered for a full 24 hrs with the screen on at full brightness)
3. Thinner → 6.5mm & Much lighter (the thinness of many other phones including the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus gives me a lot of envy. Wish the Note 4 was thinner)
4. Better screen with much higher resolution (if possible)
5. 128gb version available from day one. (and please keep the micro SD card support)
7. USB type C connector
Pros: Bright display
I would recommend this to a friend!

The product line is extensive so you get the exact features you want. I really liked my Note 2 & my Note 4 continues to go above and beyond my expectations.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, the s pen makes using the note 4 w precision., i enjoy using my note 4.
Cons: none so far.

many issues

Overall this is a decent android phone with plethora of top of the line hardware stacked together but the devil is always in the detail. My first one had a really bad blue tinted screen while viewing it from any angle other than straight on. It's really noticeable with white background. A bit of research online tells me this is quite common with AMOLED screens and some are worse than the others. I couldn't get over the blue so I got a replacement from Sprint. The second still had blueish
tint but no as deep as the first so I reluctantly accepted it, however this new phone kept drop calls. Over the 2 weeks I had it, it dropped more calls than I had over that past 6 years with 3 other phones combined. So I had to replace it again. I was given a refurbished phone as a replacement from Sprint this time which has the least amount of blue tint and doesn't drop calls...yet.
from the very first day, the phone felt slow because of a delay from pressing the home button to actually getting there. Again some search online ping-pointed it to the S voice feature which
was waiting for a possible second press. Disabling the double tap in settings makes the phone responsive again. This is the kind of detail that are missing in Samgsung compared to Apple.
Through my experience, I can't say I am impressed by the build quality of this phone even though I do appreciate the features packed with it (replaceable battery, SD card expansion, etc).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
